Welcast Products Private Limited is an exporter of cast iron casting. WPP having taken a humble entry into the area of foundry industry in the year of 1997 as an International marketing wing of the manufacturer of cast iron casting, named 'Shree Hanuman Foundry & Engg. Co. Ltd.' Shree Hanuman Foundry & Engg. Co. Ltd is one of the oldest manufacturer of Grey Iron Castings in India as it came into existence in the year 1953. It is situated by the side of the river Ganges at Phuleswar and 40 Km from Kolkata. It has a total area of 14, 40, 000 sq. ft. (covered / uncovered) of which one lac sq. ft. is covered and the rest uncovered but surrounded with boundary wall. Being one of the pioneers and leading manufacturers of Cast iron Products, the company has been making both precision and heavy duty items conforming to International standards. SHFE has also established itself successfully in the international market of grey iron castings through its excellent service to its customers abroad by supplying as per various specifications i.e. BS, EN, DIN, ASTM, SABS etc. and also as per customers own designs and requirements.

SHFE has professionally qualified personnel to look after production, sale and administration with excellent co - ordination amongst them, resulting in timely delivery and maintenance of strict quality.

SHFE's quality Assurance programme starts from selection and purchases of best available raw materials, i.e. Pig Iron, Coke, Lime Stone, Bentonite, Graphite, Bitumen Paint, etc. by technically qualified purchase personnel. Testing of molten metal is being carried out in every charging. In - progress checking of all the required dimension, weight, fetling, machining (wherever needed), load testing, hardness, pressure testing, testing of tensile and transverse strength and testing of paint etc. are done by qualified and well experienced quality control personnel.

The Company has 2 furnaces with a total installed capacity of 24, 000 M/T per annum. It has two weight bridges which cater to the need of all incoming and outgoing weighments. It has Railway assisted siding in the factory to bring inputs and to despatch finished goods by rail.

The Company has the privilege of supplying its Cast Iron Castings to various Govt. organisations like Indian Railways, Post & Telegraph, Steel plants to name a few for many years with full customer satisfaction. Likewise it has been catering to the requirements of other organisations viz Avery India Ltd, Khaitan Fans, Orient Fans etc. Their (SHFE) products are exported to USA, UK, Spain, South Africa, Kenya and the Middle east countries etc.
