THE BACKGROUND

Parijat Vyapaar (P) Ltd. was conceived only in 1996 and set up in 1997 by Mr. Mahesh Kr Kejriwal.

Parijat observed that for the next decade or two India will proceed on its growth path with a series of Projects. Infrastructure is already having attention. And the attention must grow, with increasing investment as the new millennium sets its foot on the country's economic growth path.

Parijat will have the pride of place and with Projects vast amount of support services will be needed. Right from excavation, tunneling, mining, handling heavy earth, preparing foundations, leveling and grading the soil, breaking large boulders, loading and transportation,- these and many other types of work will necessarily go with any large Project implementation.

Associated with a Group which includes M/s Vinayak Steels, already a familiar name in the country. PVPL began its career with high specialisation in all kinds of Project-related works.

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT

Project works and Project-related services need support of a massive complex of plants and equipment. Parijat began readying itself with owning, leasing and organising its full complement of the equipment. It has also arranged with its associate companies that the common resources of plant and equipment will be freely and easily available to Nilkamal.

We attach a list of major equipment that we possess or control at any point of time.

SKILLED MANPOWER AND THE MANAGERIAL TEAM

Obviously, Project work of these kinds need a full technical team. Building on our existing manpower we have by now a team of skilled personnel, including managers, with wide experience, commitment, skill and result-orientation.

Here again, we are fully backed by our Associate Houses, whenever resources support is needed by us.

OUR METHODS OF OPERATION We are prepared and geared for any kind of work but always prefer large and long term operations over a period. our experience is that heavy earth moving work, of some kind or other, continues to crop up in most Projects. And once we build up our association, the work is often continuous over a period of time. In dealing with such large long term work we set up of our own installation at the Project site. Obviously, moving, installing and commissioning such heavy equipment entails large initial investment. That is why we prefer long term contracts.

We position our own people including supervisory ranks, work-charged and fully committed to the work at site till the same is completed. Often our experience is that with large companies, our team gets almost integrated and functions as associate or in-house essential support services.

REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE

Continuous operation of heavy equipment needs constant maintenance both preventive and downtime maintenance. We organise our own spare parts and skilled maintenance team. However, for major repairs and important spare parts we expect or take recourse to large workshops either in-house with the principal or available at the nearest supply point.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We are fully equipped to respond to Tenders and Enquiries for all such work. However, once we build relation with the Principal we are open to adjustments. Our Terms and Conditions are flexible to suite the convenience of either side. Our motto has been service reliability and customers' recognition. Once these relations are built we are able to work viable solution to all related issues so that consistent with economic viability of operations our terms work out to long term advantage to the Principal.

In short, we believe in long term rewarding association rather than on short term windfall gains.

NATURE OF WORK DONE The common features of all work done of the various kinds is heavy excavation and earth movement. Along with digging balling of rocks, grading, ramming, consolidation, foundation work, tunneling and some technical and structural work was done. Site clearance, ground preparation, long/haul transportation, loading and unloading were involved in some of the works. For one or two parties we had also given equipment on hire for special type of work however, the skilled manpower and operation and maintenance continued to be our responsibility.

Taking all features of the various works done by us for noted organisations, we can sum up by saying that we have done all kinds of  Project and Project-related works according to specifications and requirements of the Clients. And our record is clear that client's satisfaction was achieved in every case.

NATURE OF SPECIALIZATION

Although Parijat is ready and equipped to handle verities of Project-related works, our specialization areas include the following :

(1) Deep Excavation work requiring large pits for foundation.

(2) Removal of soil from deep interior beds and ramming and consolidating
      foundation work

(3) Boring and tunneling through all kinds of rocks, related to construction of
      pipelines, underground cables, bridges etc.

(4) Rock breaking and handling of hard and abrasive boulders and rubbles
      and loading them for transportation and unloading.

(5) Loading and unloading from ships and transportation to plant site or any
      identified location.

(6) Overburden removal and heavy work related to mining of ores and
       minerals in all kinds of soils.

(7) Breaking boulders, slags, mixed rubbles etc. for separation of metallic
      scrap and other useful retrievable materials as per requirement of the
      principal.

(8) Road building, ramming and grading of soil, metalling work of feeder
      roads.

(9) Foundation work for Railway Siding or roads for heavy haulage.

The above list is indicative but our resources can be stretched to all other and similar works.
